In September of 2020, March For Our Lives (MFOL) approached us to help spread their message about the upcoming national election. They had partnered with comic book artist Jamal Igle to create a comic strip that would energize people to get out and vote! In addition to being distributed digitally, the comic strip was going to be plastered on walls throughout cities. We were tasked with creating a sharable video that captured the process and passion of the artist. Focusing on the authenticity of Igle’s story was key to communicating MFOL’s message.

The challenge was to closely match the look and style of a totally separate shoot and to capture all twelve concepts in a one shoot day. We were able to assemble a talented and nimble team alongside director Andy Fortenbacher, and we nailed it!

Leveling up is the name of the game! Following three years of successful brand videos that had helped to relaunch the brand, MATRIX needed a video that would top them all! The 2023 brand film was elevated with illustrations from social media artist, Helen Ratner, and with a DJ's remix of the already iconic custom track we had written for the previous year's videos. This was all done while keeping the focus on exquisite hair!

As the leader in the integrated skincare market, SkinCeuticals already had a firm grasp on selling product via dermatologists and other aestheticians. We were tasked with bringing their largest direct to consumer campaign to life with a celebrity photoshoot, video shoot, & e-comm asset design. We wanted to capture the same authenticity that naturally exists in Sofia’s own content, while still staying true to the brand. By securing top-level talent (Stevie Dance) to photograph the campaign, and by creating a seamless and efficient experience for our talent and client, we were able to "capture lighting in a bottle.” Our efforts culminated in a campaign with multiple videos, hero stills, and a complete takeover on SkinCeuticals’ ECOMM channels.

In the summer of 2022, the world's largest manufacturer of home appliances, Midea, enlisted Pereira O'Dell's help to introduce their innovative U-shaped air conditioner to US customers in an equally innovative way. Creatives hatched a CLEO Award and multiple ANDY Award-winning campaign centered around the idea that New Yorkers will do literally anything to beat the summer heat including sitting through the world's most boring movie. We set out to help them prove that by producing "90 Minutes of Air Conditioning" and screening it

Opulus Beauty Labs was redesigning their e-commerce website and needed new landing page videos and a fresh library of video assets to highlight their flagship product, The Opoule Treatment and Activator, a product line of freshly activated cosmetic retinol treatments, serums, and masks. They approached us with a need for creative, production, and post-production services and a tight 3-week turnaround for delivery. Our collaboration with Opulus Beauty Labs resulted in over 75 video assets and 30 photos that were used to promote their product line on their website, social, and print.

The ‘#NOTAFAN of Domestic Violence’ PSA campaign was created to address the domestic violence epidemic, particularly among professional athletes. Working with the agency Blonde + Co, we were brought in to help execute a traditional PSA campaign & immediately abandoned the traditional PSA format in favor of an approach that would catch the average sports fan’s attention. This allowed us to create a PSA campaign with the production value of a high-end sportswear brand.

Pereira O’Dell wanted to create a case study about a customer satisfaction campaign they orchestrated for MINI. The global supply chain crisis delayed the delivery of MINIs to four thousand customers. Acknowledging the not-so-mini delay in an upbeat way, MINI shipped these customers 5,146-piece MINI-sized puzzles to help them bide the wait time. We helped capture MINI's optimistic spirit and the incredible customer reactions with this video.

This had to be done while incorporating beautiful hair visuals and a compelling story arc. Working with a Tony Award-winning songwriter, we crafted this unifying gospel-style sing-a-long.
